Owned frontend UX exploration and AI integration design, including response states, source presentation, error recovery and secure service boundaries.
Architecture decisions
- Retrieval before generation to ground responses in source content.
- Citations displayed with answers to support verification.
- Server-side AI credentials and controlled API boundaries.
- Explicit loading, empty, partial and failure states.
Technology
Angular, TypeScript, OpenAI API, Node.js, FastAPI, semantic search and a vector-store-compatible retrieval layer.
Result
The exploration validated a focused interaction model for context-aware document discovery and workflow assistance. Exact production metrics are not published because the work is presented as a product exploration.
